In this role, you will manage private-pay accounts receivable, monitor outstanding balances and A/R aging and follow up with residents, responsible parties and insurance companies regarding outstanding accounts. You will also assist with Medicaid-pending accounts, resolve billing and payment discrepancies and help ensure account and payer information remains accurate.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week; 7:30 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Location: Oswego, NY
• Pay: $25.00/hour

What You'll Do:

• Manage private-pay A/R and follow up on outstanding balances
• Review A/R aging and resolve billing/payment discrepancies
• Communicate with residents, families and insurance companies regarding balances and payer changes
• Assist with Medicaid-pending accounts and payer documentation
• Maintain accurate account information and provide general billing support

In this temp to hire role, job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process claims and manage rejections 
• Resolve billing denials 
• Post payments and charges 
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve disputes 
• Prepare billing reports and analyses 
• Perform other related billing tasks as assigned 

Hours: Full-Time, Monday through Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Location: 100% on-site in Wayne County, NY
