Med-Scribe, Inc. has proudly partnered with a local school district on the westside of Rochester to provide experienced and compassionate nursing professionals to support student health and wellness throughout the 2025–2026 school year!

We’re currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for per diem school-based positions.  These are excellent opportunities for nurses seeking daytime hours, work-life balance, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives in an educational setting.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Daytime, Monday–Friday; no evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Location: Multiple school sites on the westside of Rochester
• Pay Rate: $25/hour
• Start Date: Positions begin with the 2025–2026 school year; summer opportunities may be available
  
  

Key Responsibilities – LPN:

• Provide 1:1 student support throughout the school day
• Dispense medications and assist with basic care needs (toileting, feeding, mobility)
• Travel with students as needed for consistency of care
• Support the School RN with triage and follow-up
• Maintain awareness of student status and report concerns

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid NYS LPN license (required)
• Experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
• Must be able to travel between assigned locations if needed
• Strong communication, compassion, and collaboration skills
