Med-Scribe, Inc. is partnering with a growing specialty behavioral health practice to hire a compassionate, motivated Mental Health Clinician (LMSW).  This practice, located in Rochester, NY, provides structured, evidence-based care for individuals living with chronic pain, chronic illness and trauma.  The team is deeply mission-driven and seeks clinicians who are genuinely interested in working with medically complex populations and delivering skills-focused interventions in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting.

This is a part-time opportunity (12-24 clinical hours per week) and is ideal for clinicians who already have foundational clinical experience and are looking to deepen their work in a specialty practice environment.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Clinician, you’ll provide diagnostic assessments and individual therapy using structured, evidence-based approaches. The practice emphasizes practical coping strategies and meaningful skill development within a focused treatment model.  While long-term care is available when clinically appropriate, this is not open-ended, exploratory therapy.  The clinical approach is intentional, structured, and skills-oriented.  You’ll work in a hybrid model (in-office and virtual), receive consistent supervision, and be part of a team that values intellectual curiosity, cultural humility, and ongoing professional growth.

What You’ll Do

• Complete diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual therapy using modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and other skills-based approaches
• Deliver structured, goal-oriented interventions for patients managing chronic health conditions
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Participate in supervision and team meetings
• Maintain direct service expectations of 12-24 clinical hours per week (between 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri, until 7PM on Tues or 6PM on Thurs)

Compensation & Support

• $40-$50/hour DOE (paid for patient-facing hours only)

• LMSW (New York State)
• Previous clinical experience preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with evidence-based, skills-focused interventions (CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.)
• Strong foundational clinical skills
• Genuine interest in working with chronic pain, chronic illness, and trauma populations
