Join a leading ophthalmology practice in Rochester and be part of cutting-edge optical care and clinical trials! We’re looking for a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or an experienced ophthalmic tech who can manually refract with loose lenses. BCVA study experience is a plus, though if you can perform manual refractions will receive full training in clinical research procedures.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform patient workups, visual acuity testing, and manual refractions
- Conduct BCVA testing and assist with clinical trial procedures
- Support physicians with exams, imaging, and procedures
- Keep equipment and study data accurate and organized
- Educate patients on exams and treatments
