Job Description

Are you looking to launch your career in mental health?  Join a mission-driven non-profit dedicated to providing quality mental health care in Rochester!  This full-time, direct hire role (Monday-Friday, 8:30AM–5PM) offers a salary of $23.50–$28.00/hr ($48,880-$58,240 annually) and is an excellent fit for recent MHC graduates or newly licensed LMSWs/LMHCs who want to grow in a supportive, team-focused setting.  Most of your caseload will be adults (around 80%), but there’s a growing emphasis on youth and adolescent services, which is perfect if you bring experience or enthusiasm for that population. 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual & group therapy, crisis intervention, and skills-based services
  • Develop treatment plans using evidence-based, person-centered approaches
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and coordinate community resources
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation
  • Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
  • NYS license (LMSW, LMHC, or Limited Permit MHC)
  • Experience working with adults; interest or background in youth/adolescent care is a plus
  • Comfort serving diverse, underserved populations
  • Strong communication and computer skills
