We are a healthcare staffing agency assisting our client, a growing optometry-driven practice, in their search for a dedicated Optometrist.  This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple locations throughout Monroe County, providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. 

Position Details:

• Hourly Rate: $75-80/hour (equivalent to $156-166k/year based on full-time hours), in addition to quarterly production bonuses!
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule with no late nights or Sundays. Work until 6 PM on three weekdays and until 5 PM on two weekdays, plus availability for two Saturdays/month.
• Patient Load: 20-21 patients/day (3 exams per hour, plus medical or contact lens checks).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
• Co-manage medical and surgical cases with outside ophthalmologists.
• Provide expert guidance to patients regarding vision care.
• Collaborate with an optical tech for efficient patient flow.
