We are a healthcare staffing agency assisting our client, a growing optometry-driven practice, in their search for a dedicated Optometrist. This role offers flexibility for either a part-time or full-time schedule and the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Schedule Options:
- Part-Time (Auburn Only): 2-3 days/week based in Auburn. Mondays and Tuesdays required; a third day (Wednesday–Friday) is optional and can be determined based on your availability.
- Full-Time (Auburn + Syracuse): Monday–Friday, 8-hour days. You'll split your time between Auburn and one additional Syracuse location.

Position Details:
Hourly Rate: $75-80/hour (equivalent to $156-166k/year based on full-time hours), plus quarterly production bonuses
Patient Load: 20-21 patients/day (3 exams/hour, plus medical or contact lens checks)

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
• Co-manage medical and surgical cases with outside ophthalmologists.
• Provide expert guidance to patients regarding vision care.
• Collaborate with an optical tech for efficient patient flow.
