Med-Scribe is currently seeking a candidate with healthcare experience for a 9-12 month temporary position within a growing company based out of the Pittsford, NY area. This is an exciting opportunity to work 100% remotely from the comfort of your own home – Equipment will be provided!

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the processing of medical claim reviews. Your day will be filled with tasks that demand precision and efficiency, such as:

• Analyzing data for Independent Medical Reviews
• Delving into complex cases with detailed fact-finding
• Meeting required deadlines
• Assisting leadership with research and report writing
• Handling phone calls and emails related to the review process

Hours:

• Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Training: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM for the first 2-3 weeks

Salary: $17.20/hr

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 2-4 years of healthcare related experience (ex. medical billing, claims or account processing) required
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Typing speed of at least 25 WPM (required)
