We have partnered with a prestigious health insurance company that is looking for an experienced Prior Authorization Clerk to join their team. This a terrific opportunity to join a company devoted to helping our local Western New York communities live a healthier lifestyle.

This is a REMOTE opportunity open to candidates located in the Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Utica areas.

In these roles, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting medication prior authorizations
• Researching and reviewing prescription and medical benefit coverage
• Entering requests into the computer system
• Communicating with pharmacists, providers, and members
• Providing phone coverage for incoming calls
• Other related duties as assigned

Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday, between 8:00AM-5:30PM. After training is completed, participation in rotating on-call weekends will be required.

Duration: Temp indefinite; requesting a minimum commitment through 02/2026.

Pay Rate: $20/HR plus excellent benefits available for temporary employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of Prior Authorization experience required. Pharmacy setting preferred.
